Industry-specific note. To curb hotlinking and bulk abnormal pulls, we may use signed URLs, temporary tokens, referrer checks, and rate-limit identifiers in preview/download flows. These are security/compliance measures typically categorized as essential or security-related Cookies.

3. Types of Cookies We Set

3.1 By source

1. First-party Cookies: Set directly by 3DOKAO for login, cart, download authorization, preferences, and on-site diagnostics.
2. Third-party Cookies/SDKs: Introduced only when necessary (e.g., payment processors for status callbacks, CDN/performance monitoring, basic analytics, or email delivery metrics). We sign data-processing terms with vendors and configure on a data-minimization basis.

3.2 By lifespan

1. Session Cookies: Deleted when the browser session ends.
2. Persistent Cookies: Retained for a defined period to remember preferences, speed up subsequent visits, or store consent. We follow a “necessary and shortest” principle: analytics/diagnostics are typically retained 6–12 months, with periodic cleanup or aggregation.

4. Legal Basis & Consent Mechanisms

1. EEA/UK (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR): Essential/security Cookies rely on legitimate interests or contract performance. Functional/analytics/attribution Cookies are enabled only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
2. Mainland China (PIPL): We follow a strict necessity principle. Where Cookies involve personalization or statistical analysis that may affect individual interests, we seek consent via banners/modals and provide opt-out paths.
3. Other regions: We apply local legal requirements accordingly.

5. Categories of Cookies We Use

1. Essential / Required: Keep login, session, cart, payment status callbacks, and download authorization working.
2. Functional: Language/UI preferences, list and filter memory, lightweight personalization.
3. Analytics & Diagnostics: Site performance, error logging, experiments/A-B testing, optimization of model previews and download experience.
4. Attribution & Measurement: Channel/campaign effectiveness and limited marketing measurement (enabled only with your consent).

Except for Essential/Required, other categories are enabled only after consent. Analytics/diagnostics data follow a “necessary and shortest” retention principle (typically 6–12 months).
